540i G30 Error
Recently bought used 2018 540i, after purchase, I upgraded to MHD Stage 1 tune with everything stock, no issues but had DP and charge pipe from VRSF coming in mail...
Once received I replaced DP with VRSF catless DP and VRSF charge pipe along with NGK spark plugs and High performance Coil packs and went to MHD Stage 2. At first I didnt have any problems, but after taking a trip longer than 100 miles, I noticed my car shaking and feeling different. Used bimmerlink to look at codes and it popped up code 21A02D combustion control:Valve lift correction when idling. After looking up on bimmerpost, I read about ISTA+, ESYS and others. Currently installing ISTA+ atm. I have tried to do a protools and MHD reset adaptation on idle and that only works momentarily then the little shaking under car comes and code is still present even if engine light isnt on. Will ISTA+ valvetronic reset and test work? I think its the best route from what i've read. also can someone link me ESYS and other files for ESYS? thanks in advance. Will post update if ISTA+ works. |

Sanka Coffie yes, ive flashed back to completely stock and removed MHD, then went back to stage 2 with long write. It fixed it only for a very little time then vibrations in seat came back and felt like car wanted to stall when I stopped at red lights. Ive done idle reset adapt on MhD and protools also at seperate times and same outcome. Fixes it for about 10 miles then its back to the vibrations.
