Best wheel width/offset and tire size for Flush fitment?

I been searching online for the best wheel offset for a flush look with slightly different opinions.

I am interested in lowering a little bit later so want to get a wheel offset that will look good after lowering too.

from what I can find 20x9 et25 front and 20x10.5 et38 is what some people go with?

Is this a good offset for lowering too?

What tires size is best without stretching or bulging sidewall but close to stock height?

after carefully listening to my thoughts and comparing a few images of the fitment I was looking to achieve, a professional recommended 20x9.0 et25 | 20x10.5 et35 & 255/35/20 | 285/30/20

should have them by the end of the week and will share some photos on stock 550 suspension

after doing some research I have decided to go with 20x9 et25 and 20x10.5 et38 with 255/35 and 295/30 tires.

Perfect timing as i am in the same dilemma. I messaged Vossen looking at the VFS1 and the response came back at 9x20 ET35 and 10.5 ET42
This was my F10 setup. I questioned it again stating what i have for a car. (2017 540i XDrive with msport and 20" staggered and i also mentioned 5x112 CB 66.56.

From what i can see, 9x20 ET25 and 9x10.5 ET40-42 would work for me. I am open to suggestions though.

Cant wait to see your pics and fit.

Picture updates?

Anyone have any picture updates of how these fit?

I am completely clueless when it comes to this.

I am thinking of going with Vossen HF-5 20x9 ET30 & 20x10.5 ET30

Any potential issues with this?

Any advise welcomed.

Thank you

the rear won't work to aggressive offset, 35 would work but occasionally might rub and in the front you would want at least 25 offset or you could get spacers

Recently, I purchased a set of Vossen wheels for my vehicle w/ M Sport brakes.

Specs are as follows:

Front: 20x9 ET 32
Rear: 20x10.5 ET 45

…would those work as well? Since I haven't mounted/balanced these wheels yet. Thx.

I have 20x9 et +25 and 20x10 +30
vorsteiner vff103
on stock m suspension and no rubbing of whatsoever.
I do however still have my stock rf 245/35 front and 275/30 rear
am planning on getting 255/35 and 295/30 and people seem to think it should be okay on stock m sport suspension
