Question about Executive tier

I'm considering a 540i xDrive. I currently have a 2016 M3.

I see that the executive tier includes a leather dashboard, but it doesn't specify whether that's leather on both upper and lower.

I am guessing that it's only the upper dashboard, and not the lower dashboard (i.e., under the wood trim, glove box, etc.). True?

Executive Tier package in U.S. does not include a leather dash. There is a separate $1,200 option - 4M5. I suspect it would reference Extended Leather if it was to cover below the dash. The 4M5 Leather dashboard covers the dash, door tops down to the armrests.

Thanks.

I just went back into the configurator and see the leather dashboard option you're talking about.

What about the glovebox? Is that leather or some sort of vinyl/plastic material?

The leather dash is not as extensive as it is on a full merino leather but it does look nice.

I agree. I would have liked full Merino but couldn't wait for the special order. But the leather dash does go nicely with the nappa upholstery and to me the best and most surprisingly best part is the door tops. That is the part right next to you and having a nice nappa leather there really does look and feel nice.
