Lane keep assist
What does it mean when the Steering Wheel graphic is green but the lane markers are still gray. I've noticed that the car still adjust steering whether or not the lane markers are green.
Also, what is the little green icon in the upper left corner of the cluster? How is that different from the green steering wheel?

Those are great questions which I had myself. It's confusing. Especially the little green car.
The green car is "lane departure warning ". I believe it just means the car has found at least on lane marking so it can issue warnings. It says warnings because the intervention part can be turned off. The steering wheel is "lane control assistant". The steering wheel without the green lanes means it can't find lane markings to follow so it's following the car in front.

Green steering with green lanes means that steering assist is active and that it has detected lane markings
Green steering wheel and grey lanes means it's locked on to the car in front which I think will be when in traffic jam assist mode , ie at lower speeds. Grey steering wheel means lane assist is not active - you steer! |

Little green car = Lane departure warning/assist is on (speeds beyond 37mph)
Green steering wheel only = You are locked into the car in front of you and traffic jam assist is on. Car will mirror the movements of car in front while monitoring for other hazards. Works up to 43mph. Green steering wheel & green lane markings = All Driving assistance systems are on and in semi-Autonomous driving mode. Works up to 130mph. |

90% of the questions here can have the answers found in the manual. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't help folks whose questions can be found answered in the manual.

I have to say that these are great forums with a good deal of information to be found.
There is a good worldwide coverage ( which also highlights the differences between the cars sold in each market - that in itself I find interesting) and it is also very active and you don't really have to wait long to get an answer to your question. Some good detailed reviews in here which I think in a lot of cases are better than some of the articles you read . Reviewed by real people with real world experience. |

Today, I was able to identify the differences while driving along both city streets and in the highway. Impressive technology.
