All the guides are notated as "MY 2017."

It is surprising that BMW hasn't made G30 as Model Year 2018 since we wouldn't likely see it in US before Spring 2017.

One of the BMW sales manager did indicate US reveal at LA Auto show and launch as 2018 model. Hope his info. is correct!

Im positive the V8 will be there too.
I believe the ordering guide that was released is only for the dealer demo cars - so just the 530 and 540s will be demos - i dont think its the full ordering guide for consumers.

They don't sell these models and don't have any plans to sell these models in North America. So you will get to see the European-centric models such as the 520d and M550d have a proper European Premiere in Geneva,after the World Premiere at the NAIAS.

Let's see, but I am telling you, not a chance.

It is true that those are European-centric models, but also BMW is European brand and Europe is BMW's most important market, so you will see, they will not debut without those models. At the end, deliveries in Europe will start sooner than in the US.

World premiere will probably be online, as with most of their important models last years.

Okay. This is confusing.

So you're saying that the F10's end of production is October 2016, G30's start of production is November 2016, but it's not going to be unveiled until January 2017, and the European models won't show up until March 2017?

I know that you're supposed to be an inside source, but uh... doesn't that sound off to you?

Full premiere in October, World Autoshow Premiere in Detroit.
US models 530i and 540i and iPerformance.
Full European Autoshow Premiere Geneva the same time the cars arrive on the European market. Which will coincide with the Geneva introduction of the M550 models and the rest of the range that will not be shown in Detroit because they are not available in the US market.
