Yeah they offered me springs and ride kit for a really good price. I did pass on it for now as i think the ride is absolutely perfect for the car.

Here are the Dinan specs for the F10 550i xDrive. I expect the M550i xDrive to have similar numbers. The torque gain is at 5500 RPM.

Hello - were the connectors hard to get to. Friend bought the M550 (2018) and cannot locate the connectors. Any help appreciated. Or photo of where they are. Looks like RaceChip is out of USA now too. HHHMMM.... Did you need to take any parts off of the M550 to get at connectors?

I can help you with any RaceChip question.
RaceChip themselves never been in the US.
But, I have been in contact with RaceChip Germany since the so called RaceChip USA before wasn't even RaceChip USA representative.
Too bad that you are not local, and I only have 540i, not the M550.

Its coming. Getting everything together for a public release slowly but surely. Move wasn't as smooth as we had hoped (but then again when is it ever). Hell, couldn't even find the box of harnesses for a week and a half...

I was hoping for a January release but the date continues to slip. I decided to purchase the BMS Stage 1 and feel it has changed the character of the car. Yes, in comfort it's still a smooth ride but you can now stump on the gas and the response feels like stock sport+. It's a complete animal now in sport+ and the MPG hasn't changed much (can't explain the latter). I have not dyno'd my car but will say it feels well over 500hp and tq. The BMS website says the tune provides 60whp so I suspect I'm somewhere around 545hp/tq. My gut says 0-60 is near 3.5 with the tune.

I already tested it with bms stage 1, it is in fact 0-60 in 3.47. I've tied with Shelby GT350, cls63s edged me by half a car (575bhp). This car is definitely around 560-570bhp. Can't wait for Jb4 to arrive

Out of curiousity, what octane gas do you use with the BMS Stage 1, 94? wonder what the limitations are sticking with 91.

We're limited to 91 here in California. I'm tempted to add a gallon of E85 but haven't researched yet how the M550i might respond.

No issues here. I push the car hard and it responds every time. I haven't noticed any MPG issues either as the car still gets the averages I got before I installed the tune.

I've used both, didn't notice any difference, 1/4 mile trap speed stayed the same. I stick with 91 now until I get the JB4 and start pushing the car more.
