Parking assist gong volume setting

I have a problem with the parking assist gong in my 2019 BMW 540i. When I am getting close to an object the gong is very soft. I have found that if I turn up the radio volume knob when it is sounding then it gets louder. I have to turn up the volume every time I park. The problem is it will not stay loud. I have lost a lot of my hearing and the gong is useless if I cannot find a way to keep it permanently loud.

I don't listen to the music on the radio much since I have lost so much of my hearing. So I guess the Gong and PDC sound is lowered automatically since there is not anything playing. Unfortunately, I think it is just my hearing that is the problem. I can still watch the boxes as I am parking.
