540i Lease terms

Swapped out my 2020 lease.
$67,720 Msrp
$62,917 price
10k miles
$5500 drive off
$799/mo

They also ate my last payment form prior lease and waived the $500 of scratch damage.

The market sucks these days for leases, but this is the best deal I could find.

For reference my last 540i was comparable msrp. $2500 drive off, $657/mo, 12k

1st payment, tax, license and the balance is cap reduction

few mths back 530s were going for like 869.

Did you buy out old lease? Maybe could of made 5-10k doing that I think/ flipping it right after buying it out.

I did not, I didn't want to deal with trying to sell it. There were superficial scratches and stuff all over the car.

Pricing is crazy these days. I think I got a decent deal all things considered. However my total cost of ownership on my 2020 540 was $26k vs. $34k for the 2023 with almost identical MSRP. I also got my 2020 in February before lock down. I was the only customer in the dealership while I was there.
