2023 M550i Xdrive
Cautiously optimistic that I’m going to get it before Feb. little anxious about the shipping time though.

Would you be willing to share your production completion date?
Mine was November 14th. My order is EXACTLY like yours with the exception of black nappa and Dynamic handling. I've been stuck in quality check now since the competition on the 14th. Last edited by NateM15; 11-25-2022 at 10:12 PM.. Reason: Add screen shot |

Makes me sick. Mine was built on 9/28 and has been sitting in the ****ing parking lot at the factory awaiting carrier assignment. Dealer and BMW Genius have been useless.

I’m three days ahead of you with 11/19 complete. Going to MA via NYC. I’d check with genius Monday as I made the chartered Grimaldi boat which left Zeebrugge 11/28 arriving NY 12/7 or so. You may have made that one if you’re going to NH.

The Orion Highway docked this morning at Bremerhaven, has a 2 layover there leaving on the 6th; and will be at Zeebrugge on December for the 8th and the 9th. It's listing it's next stop as Baltimore on Dec 19th. Let's hope we all get a seat on it.
The next vessel to make the trip is the Hoegh Jacksonville departing Bremerhaven on December 22 with an arrival in Baltimore Jan 2. It's sister ship Hoegh New York leaves Bremerhaven on January 26th and lands at Baltimore on February 7th. I'm really hoping we make it on the Orion. Being that it's stopping at both Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge makes it sound like the most logical. Fingers crossed everyone. Last edited by NateM15; 12-05-2022 at 05:15 PM.. Reason: Correction |

Do you know or have any idea if the allocation was submitted as a paid/sold order? Seems from what I see on other posts that those marked paid/sold move the quickest thru the process.

Wow that is bad. I'm not in your shoes but if I were I would draw a line in the sand, give them a date to give you some in writing clarification as to the issue and if not satisfactory, get another allocation elsewhere. That's got to be rough. Sorry man. 😐 |

Guess we need to reachout to the genius lines and ask if they can say what port we are truly at. |

On the genius line, just make sure that you are asking for someone to talk to regarding a paid/sold order. I was transferred 3 times before I got someone that knew where to find all the details. As long as you have the VIN I've found the info to be accurate.
As far as how far inland, greatlakes area. So I would gather it's going to be a train ride from Baltimore to some where close to be transfered to a truck. I can't imagine that they would truck it a 9 hour drive but then again I could be wrong. I will be pleasantly stunned if it gets here before the year end. I hit the roof, pulled all VINs similarly equipped to mine and built after mine. I took an unconventional approach to contacting BMW Group re: why my car's still in awaiting carrier assignment when unsold cars built after mine are sitting at local dealers. I seem to have hit pay dirt on that approach, as someone from BMW NA reached out to me yesterday and conveyed that she'd spoken to the factory to get my car on a boat ASAP. We shall see. |
