'20 M550 drivetrain issue????

So a month ago I was heading home and driving a bit "spirited" on the highway. Settings were DSC off,Sport/Sport. All highway driving,no launching from a dig. Had to merge in heavy traffic and smashed the throttle from 50mph car downshifted then upshifted 2x as revs climbed(as normal).

30 seconds later at steady throttle and 65mph the trans clunked twice, then the shift lever moved itself to the right into Comfort mode and a large D started blinking on the dash. Was getting off my exit as this was happening,so at the light I placed in Park, shut car off and restarted. No warnings or idiot lights on dash, car drove normal from there on out.

Two weeks ago I was running errands around town, same settings DSC off, trans in Sport/Sport and after leaving a stop pretty hard(no launch control) and the car shifting itself from 1st-4th the trans clunked again and D flashed a few times on the dash. I put the trans back in Comfort, engaged DSC and drove home w no issues.

Has this happened to anyone else? Car went to the dealer a week after the last incident(wiring harness issue caused back-up camera to not work) and they checked for issues and found nothing w the trans.

Now Im hesitant to tune the car for more performance.

It does not state whether they did on the work order;work order details the camera repair only and nothing else. I'll reach out to dealer and inquire

Then they didn't. It's got to be on the work order for them to submit to bmw for warranty claim.
