Readjusting Headlight Height After Lowering
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the correct section for this but I was wondering how many of you have readjusted your headlights after lowering? Ive been noticing more and more than my headlights pretty much just light up the floor for the 20 feet or so in front of me. Ive been lowered for around a year so I don't even remember a time when they did anything else but I am curious if anyone else has readjusted and if you did it yourself or had it done somewhere? Just curious. Thanks, Alan

No problem! I believe the thread above is correct in that our headlights are aimed pretty low from the factory. I compared it to a friend's 428i recently and our headlights are aimed way lower and from what i can see they are inferior in its output also.
I'm lowered on H&R springs and I found that 3 full turns was just right instead of the recommended in that thread. Adjusting is super easy. I just used the screw driver from the tools in the trunk. Good luck! |
