Coming to full stop, car rocks back and forth horizontally
2019 530d M Sport with 133,000 km. As it comes to a full stop at a light or stop sign, the motionless car tends to rock back and forth horizontally, and after probably less than a second after a complete stop, the backward and forwards motion ceases. What does this behavior indicate? Are we talking worn bushes maybe?

Things that come to mind....
1. You need new struts/shocks. 2. You have one or more badly worn/disintegrated suspension bushing. 3. A control arm is broken. (unlikely, but still.) |
