Homelink Retrofit in the UK

I have a homelink electric garage door and was looking to see if anyone knows if it is possible to retrofit to a UK car. I think US cars come with it as standard and I have seen used parts for the mirror trim with the buttons, but it won't be THAT simple, right?

Just to let you know, In general, US homelink will not work outside the USA/Canada because of frequency...

Make sure to get homelink parts from Europe. Also, make sure your current garage support homelink..
