Driver Assistance Pro - Any way to defeat the yellow lights or trick the system?
I do 8-hour highway drives on a RURAL open highway often and think the hands-off alarms are annoying yet important! My Audi gives me 45 seconds as well as other brands. Is there any way to trick the wheel into thinking you are on the wheel? I hate to bring this up as it is all about safety. The technology on the new Highway Assist on the G60 is very similar (Same cameras I believe) but instead watches your iris in the eye. Also, they may have GPS which gives you Level 2. The current DAP on the BMW that I have is fantastic (Hats off to BMW for the great technology that supersedes Audi currently).
On my 8-hour RURAL I-80 highway drive (2 lanes E and W) It would be nice to have a workaround or something similar to Highway Assist. |

I have the emulator and looking for someone to help me install it (Might be tough to get a shop to do it). The video that shows the G series looks slightly different on the wheel than my 530. Is it that simple to just pop off the cover on the wheel and plug it in? Has anyone tried this on a newer 5 series?
