G31 unknown plug under the glove box

Does anyone know what is this plug for?

I was just watching a video of a BMW with the air freshener option. There are lots of weird options out there and BMW probably used the same wiring harnesses to save costs. Even my Nissan has a bunch of unplugged things behind the dash.
