M550i to come in manual/DCT aswell

New list of model designations seems to confirm Manual and Auto versions of M550i

I don't believe this before I see in an official price list.

Seeing how there's been less and less 5 series models with a 6MT, I see no reason there will be a 6MT M550i, especially in Europe.

That mech might mean something else than a normal 6MT, maybe a DCT or SMG type gearbox.

Didn't BMW end manuals for the 550 after the F10 LCI?
I'm gonna have to guess DCT.

Hard to imagine that BMWUSA would be able to sell more than a handful of M550i's with manual transmissions.

I would buy one. This is one of the main concerns for me when considering this car. I need to keep my feet busy.

Me too. If I thought there'd be an MT M550 AWD, I'd be standing outside my dealership right now waiting for them to open so I could place my order!

I don't think its a manual at all, why would they bring a manual to the 5 series. The M5 doesn't have one, nor does the new 3 series, and on the least selling model? No way. Also DCT is out too I think, i'm pretty sure BMW won't make another DCT at least not for the 5 (maybe the next M2/3/4?), as again, the M5 has a traditional Zf 8 speed, so why would a lower model get a DCT, something thats been reserved for M cars and "is" special variants (135is, 335is, etc.)
