RWD program

Is there a rwd program I have x drive and would like to be able to turn off the x drive and be rwd only.

Yeh only choice is to order red only from new (if available in your market) or buy a M5

Not red , RWD. Typo

Example in the U.K. the 540 only comes in drive, rwd only model not available but believe it is in German though.(suspect they get every option)

Yeah. Only the M has that feature.

Us lowly g30 folk are all in one way or the other.

I had to defend the why of it through every sales rep I talked to up here (NY), but in the end per bmw Manhattan, I had the only rwd 2021 540i allocation in the NE. My guy had to trade someone in South Carolina for it.

Happy with that decision. Cheaper, lighter, more efficient, better turning radius, and a bit more playful than the x drive version.

Personally confused how there aren't more ppl making that choice. Rwd in the snow is a blast

I chose the M550ix because I wanted the surefootedness of all wheel drive. I have two other cars with rear wheel drive. I have never owned an all wheel drive car before
