Outa here !
I just cannot get comfortable in my 330D Touring. Plus the car wanders & fidgets on poor roads. Test drove an Audi A4 3.0Tdi Tiptronic S-line avant yesterday. WOW what a car !. The deal is done & the Beemer will be history soon.
Bye Guys, thanks for the help & safe driving Beemer |

hi bimmer4me. The tramlining is certainly a major issue, the car seems to have a mind og its own on cambered & poorly surfaced roads. That alone is not enough to get rid of the car, but together with the most uncomfortable seats - - its got to go.
How a company like BMW can get the seats so wrong is a mystery, I have driven 3 different Mercs over the last 8 years with no problems. Beemer |

Enjoy. However, I must say that I drove the S Line A4 before I ordered the 330d: performance was nowhere near as good and the rock-hard ride was so uncomfortable I felt nauseous when I got out. Each to his own, I guess...

Hi Paul, i agree the Audi will be a bit down on performance specially with the Quattro drivetrain but the new engine is now giving 233bhp so there cant be that much in it. The ride comfort is not a problem on either car, it is the tendency of the BMW to be skittish & tramline that is disconcerting. I think it is an issue with the runflat tyres more than anything & the seats are trully awfull. Guess i`m not BMW shaped

Non-runflat all-seasons would negate the tramlining.
The seats may change per the 335i. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18998
