We've got the numbers now, swamp. See the official F30 thread for reference.
"88-99 lbs. lighter depending on model" So it is a little lighter. Nothing revolutionary, but certainly better than a weight gain like the 5 series had. It will be interesting to get some actual weights from owners to see how it plays out in real life. For example, I recall Nissan claiming some big weight loss from the 350z->370z changeover, but it turned out to be a lot less significant once you put two equivalently optioned vehicles on the scale. |
