I have the potential opportunity to reserve the following tomorrow:

Technology package

I was interested in the Driver Assistance package, but this offer means I will not be able to get it. Suppose I am asking am i really missing out, as I tend to drive on "mostly" winding roads (sometime Motorway driving). Rest of spec looks good to me though and price is a good 20% discount at 0% APR.

Also how easy would it be to get an aftermarket towbar for this car that doesn't risk damaging the M-Sport bodykit?

No idea on the tow bar, but you will not be missing much by not having the driver assistance pack.
I think you would be very happy with the spec as it is.

Are you buying this one for the discount or because its available now?

If its for the discount, and you can wait, you can get 20% or more on a new order (although not sure on 0% APR but if you get a bigger discount that may not be an issue).

If you need one now, then depending on your journeys you can live without DA - I see a motorway perhaps once every 6 weeks. Almost all of my driving is short hops around town, so I am fine without it. Others use it every day for their commute and wouldn't live without it.

To echo what mobilejo said, you can get about 20% off a brand new factory order of similar spec, but new BMW finance rate is 2.9%APR I think.

If the rest of the car's spec is what you're looking for, go for it.

p.s. how tall are you ? Just check the sunroof doesn't impinge on your headroom

I'm 6'6 and have loads of headroom with sunroof in my saloon - is it worse in the touring?

It's a good offer as long as it's the options you really want. You could easily score the same discount and APR on a factory order and can save more money by unticking the Comfort Package, Panoramic roof, M Plus Package or any other options you don't need.

Several dealers are offering 0% APR if you take delivery before the end of July or August.

All dealers - got mine from Partridge BMW. Offer is in stock cars held anywhere in UK
