Hey guys, do we have 1 resonator or 2 resonators? If i do a resonator delete, which one should I have removed? Thank you.

I got a resonator delete on my 2018 540i with the M performance exhaust it only had 1 resonator. Hope this helps!

Pretty sure it's only one resonator, but I think the LCI with the B58TU1 had another fuel particulate filter in that front section near the downpipe. I recall seeing a youtube vid where a guy removed it.

I have the same car with the MPPSK and have considered the resonator delete too as the exhaust is a tad too quiet. What are your thoughts Post resonator delete with the m performance exhaust?

Thanks guys! So the general consensus is that a resonator delete is better than a muffler delete?

It is decently louder on the lower rpms, although I didn't have the mppsk upgrade only the exhaust. I'd expect it to sound better due to the tuining of the mppsk. Also do expect a slight drone at around 80-100km but it does go away on highway speeds. Also to note when I got the resonator delete, the shop that did it for me told me the res was basically hollow and doesnt sound detonate that much. If your going for loud I'd consider a catted down pipe, or go all in with catless!
