Did the dealer have good info about the hold at at the port? ie, if I call my sales guy is it easy for him to know that or did your dealer need to call the port to get more info? |

There is a stop sale on 70 cars manufactured around July 2nd related to the camshaft sensor issue. It includes a few of the models and I know some were 550's and M5's but I don't have the breakdown. If yours was manufactured near this date I would check with your CA. The sensor will either be repaired or replaced.

Hi all. I'm waiting (impatiently) for my 550 to arrive, and I've spent a lot of time trying to get pics or video of the 2020 to see the new cluster and hear the exhaust. Mine is a week 36 build as well, but tracking in Canada is evidently not what it is in the ROW, so I have no idea where it is at this point.
I had the opportunity to hear a 2020 today as my local dealer received their first one. I recorded the exhaust note as it is more aggressive than the 2019. First revs are in Comfort, then I switched to Sport Plus, then back to Comfort: Also, the gauge cluster looks pretty good to me. I'll likely use the HUD most of the time, but it seems like a decent layout, especially in Sport Plus. Last edited by JoeRock550; 09-14-2019 at 03:15 PM.. |

Thanks. I was looking at Michelin X-ICE, but am considering Alpin's too, probably on 19" rims with a squared setup. I had Dunlop winters on my F10 550 in a squared setup and it was great in the snow, but I don't want runflat tires on this car.

Congrats! Looking good Seems like no more CD player in 2020 models... not that I used mine on my '19. Thought it was a Euro thing, but now I see it on your US spec model.
