Front Plate Holes

Just leased a 540i m sport with 2k miles on it. Car is great but it had a front licence plate from before which has some holes in the bumper. Any recommendations on the hold plugs? Car is Alpine white.. I'm shipping the car to FL and no need for the front plate.

Usually screws into the plastic bumper cover distorts the plastic a bit, raising the edges slightly. You might ask a good body shop if they have a simple solution, short of filling, painting and clear coating the cover. If you want to DIY it, look closely at the hole and if they are not distorted and a fairly smooth, you might simply try some white silicon caulk. It might be enough to make them disappear from a few feet away. Or just filling with a bit of body filler and then try to color with some touch up paint. I would check with a body shop or professional detailer first though. I'll bet they could make you happy for not too much money. Good luck--Bob

You can get them at most hardware stores in black or white.

Drill them the exact same size as the PDC sensors and put dummy ones in. No one will know any different.
