Installed Touch Screen HVAC Controller Without Issues So Far

My unit has a line, it is very light and I'm the only one that knows its there. You can only see it if you're 3 inches away from it and looking up at an angle. Can't complain as I got it for about $100 on eBay. I also kept my manual unit just in case.

Is it possible to install the 4-zone system in a US model? From what I've read, looks like the answer is no.

I read somewhere if it’s not the ceramic knobs it’s truly plug and play where if it’s ceramic knobs there is some coding required. Is that correct? I may need to pick one up if it’s truly plug and play.

This guy did it on an F10. I imagine it would pretty be much the same (G30 parts obviously) on a G30.

Anything is possible, but it's not just a matter of installing the rear controller. There are a few thread on this and I believe one by me asking the same. You would need to retrofit all the hardware, blowers, wiring harness etc.

All of these panel part numbers are touchscreen and designed for the G30/F90. Variable include whether you have ceramic or the DVD slot (but that part can be moved over from your old one).

Good luck finding one though.
