Dear members,

I'm a proudly owner of a BMW M550i G30 from 2017 (PRE-LCI). I am trying to figure out if there is any way of coding the M5-look cluster theme to my car.

I've coded the M3-theme for a friend of mine on his G20 from 2019. I see the option for this particular option but, nothing changes.

I've found a CAFD file of an actual F90 for the instrument cluster but cannot inject it.

Do you guys know how to code it? Any suggestions?

TBH i wouldn't code it. It stops you from having your dash change its look when you swap between modes eco/sport/comf

It’s not possible without changing the cluster the f90s have different hardware I made a thread retrofitting a f90 cluster in a g30
The g20s have id7 and the newer clusters have the same hardware as the m cars it’s just coding but on the older 6wb clusters it’s different hardware

Very possible to code drive modes on id7 cluster on id6 car

yes you can put it in m550i and get them but if u do M5 or M performance screen you lose the modes.

Can you maybe give me some instructions on how to code it?

I've already the M5 i-drive menu coded. I just want to see how the M5 dash looks like.
