Revised McLaren MP4-24

McLaren introduced revised version of the MP4-24 in Germany, with a new front wing, new side pods, new engine cover, new floor and a new rear diffuser with a much wider asymmetric central channel. The car improved by around eight-tenths of a second with the new package - so far only available to Lewis Hamilton.
Heikki Kovalainen has just the new front wing at the Nurburgring.

I can make out a wing, but the rest is just ???? to me.

Is this the rear of an F1 car?

Correct. That picture is focused on the rear diffuser.

which fustrates me its kinda similar to his over-aggressive-ness in Japan Fuji last year.....which he doesn't have to....

today...he could've tone it down a bit and see how will the new MP4-24 fight with the RBRs, Brawns, and Ferraris....etc

exactly.

exactly, he wanted to win the race on the first lap, sometimes slow and steady wins the race.

So... don't watch too many F1 races, huh? The majority of races are won by the first guy through turn 1. As you could see by what happened to Button getting stuck behind Kovalainen. Webber and Barrichello put almost 5 seconds into him in the first couple of laps.

The truth of the matter is that he had an amazing start. He probably would have retained 3rd, even after going wide, had he not punctured. Just bad luck, not over aggressive driving IMO.

p.s. what good is watching F1 if they aren't going to drive like mad men!!!

Webber ran into Hamilton after bouncing off Barrichello. If not for the contact Hamilton could easily have been P1 by turn 2.
Isn't it funny that the guy causing TWO collisions by turn 1 is the safety spokesperson of the drivers association?
Bad luck Hammy. Go McLaren!

yes...turn 1 is important...but have you seen hamilton won the race by turn 1???
now he's not in the champtionship hunt....he might as well be caucious and gain plenty of track information and data for development and pick up plenty valuable points for the team....
