Congrats...I saw one at my dealer recently and I like it much better after seeing it in person. The white looks great!

i think i would rather drive a 328 than a 1 series, even the 135. I am willing to bet had you never bought the 328, saved money for the amount of time you owned it and kept your down payment (if you dropped money down) you couldve now bought a 335 and prob. broke even. You def. took it in the pooper trading in after only 1 year, esp. if you bought the car new. First year depreciation is ...well ridiculous...not to mention you traded on a car thats probably selling @ MSRP since it just came out.

Good luck though, have fun with it

I didn't get bent over that badly--I was only $2500 upside down, so it was a no brainer for me at that amount. I could have gotten the 335 cheaper actually (with less on it, of course). But I didn't want it. Drove the 135 and 335 back to back multiple times, and the E92 just felt bigger and heavier than the E82. The E92 335 is a great car--but it just didn't feel as good to me. The 135 was a little more precise in turns, for example. Brakes felt more powerful. And I didn't feel like the car was bigger than it needed to be (which is how I sometimes felt about my 328i E92) Power can't make up for that difference, to those who say "ditch the 328, get a 335".

The performance numbers have been really close, if not identical, between the two. So it comes down to subjective things--and I would just rather have a 1er. Still love the 3er, but like a good woman, she has gotten a little bigger and heavier than what I need.

not everyone wants the 335i over the 135i.

I don't think he was being an ass--but there are a lot of people on this forum who are when it comes to this discussion. Like, complete shock if someone wants something OTHER than a 335. lol--it is a great car--good looking and fast as hell. But I, like you suggest, would rather have the E82. And there is no doubt in my mind.....
