Getting the V2 tune installed next week. For those that have done it, are you happy with the results and most importantly, we're there any issues post installation?

I have the v1, it’s a noticeable boost. Have had zero issues.

Thanks. Anyone know what V2 offers over V1 or why the went from V1 to V2? Just curious.

I think one difference was that V2 dropped the bluetooth activation option with phone (to maintain similar platform as other products). Otherwise, I think the specs are about the same.

Not that I know of. To turn OFF the function on V2, you need to do it manually. On V1 it is a Dinan app that turns the chip function on and off.

Thanks got it. I guess that would have been cool to easily turn it on and off to compare. I couldn't be bothered inserting the bypass plug.

Thanks, I am a week into it and am very happy with the gains. I'd say that the extra hard pull in comfort mode is the most surprising. Sport Plus is an untamed beast. Still getting used to how to drive it best in that mode with the tune. Throttle response is off the charts and the short shift ratios are something I need to get better at in terms of the right amount of throttle.

Not one CEL or issue in almost 3 years.

Dinan stopped making V1 in late 2018 and replaced it with V2. The V1 did have Bluetooth capabilities, a lot more wiring and cost about $400 more than V2. V2 has minor increase of 5 hp to 595 (at engine) but a couple less pounds of torque.

I’ve had V2 now for over 2 years, no CEL or issues.

That’s great to know. Thank you for chiming in. Now I’m tempted. Wasn’t sure if I should do this for a car I plan to own for 100k miles. This or Carbahn for reliability?
