M550 Fog Lights

I have only found a few threads that mention the fog light retrofit on the M550 but not many following through or showing it done.

Is this ill advised due to the cooling benefits of the ducts or just simply not a popular retrofit?

This would be my first BMW (of many) without any fog lights and though I'm still unsure if I'm sold on the look as shown with other G30's, I'm quite curious to what the consensus is here.

I would not compromise the air flow in any way for the N63. There is a reason there are no fogs there like the other models.
