Water type marking on leather
Guys -
Posting this here since we don't get much on the 7 forums. I am finding an odd stream that's running across the leather trim on the door. It's on the passenger side too and today I see it on the dash to the right. Dealer thinks it's a water stain but the fact it's happening on the other side and the dash makes me think it may be the leather itself. I don't use water not products inside. I just use a dry microfiber clothe. Thoughts?

Did it just suddenly appear?
I had a similar marking on my leather dash and I got it replaced under warranty. On my car, I'm fairly certain that excess water was spilled on the dash while applying ceramic film to the inside of the windshield. In my case, this occurred before I took delivery of the car when new. I noticed the water damage the next day or so and got the dash replaced no problem. |

BMW said that they think it is adhesive underneath coming apart. It was in corners of my dash near my center speaker and near the pillar. Near the pillar the leather was peeling up. Who knows. Glad it got resolved. Thanks for the feedback.
