Thinking of moving to the 1/2” taller side-wall if it makes a noticeable difference. What do you guys think? Thanks

No. It will be trivial. Changing to air tires will make a difference tho. Keep the 19's it's sportier and the cars designed fir them.

It probably will do better with potholes… comfort wise probably not noticeable. Would be better to switch to NRFT.

I had 18" on my previous G30 and have 19" on my LCI. In both cases runflat staggered tires (same brand and type) and adaptive suspension.

Due to the adaptive suspension, the difference in comfort and sportiness (cornering) is hardly noticable. The 18" were better with potholes and parking on the sidewalk due to the larger and beefy sidewall. While they look better, you have to be very careful with 19" or 20" wheels not to scratch them.

When you select tires pick one with rim fringe protection, marked with RFP, FP or MFS (maximum flange shield). They add extra protection to the sidewall.
