Bought a BMW (not a e90)
Intstead of a 3er, I got a 130i M-Sport (Mettalic Black/Black M interior, Xenons, 18s, audio, aluminium "cube" trim). Don't regret for a moment. More power, slightly less weight and best of all...
Sport Exhaust is standard. Yep, the 130i sounds much more agressive and a little louder then the 330i. All in all good to be back with BMW. |

It’s looking like the hatchback has become the new standard body shape for small cars, at least in Canada if not the USA. Tons of small Japanese 5 door hatchbacks of every make are on the road here ranging from the strictly utilitarian to sporty "tuner" cars. And of course, a German one, the VW Golf has been here for a long time. I don't know, but judging just by eye of what's on the road, hatchbacks might be approaching, if not outselling regular sedans. Historically at least, I don't think Americans buy really small cars, the 3 might be as small as they will go but I hope they get a chance to choose. Is the 1 the same size as the 3 or is it smaller?
No BMW 1’s here yet but I have seen a few Mercedes B-class on the road and the Audi 3 is for sale here as well so BMW is sure to bring the 1 over to match its competition. Maybe BMW is going back to its roots, back to the simple fun of the old 2002. |

The 130 is a road ROCKET.
Congrats on your purchase.

As soon as I get a camera. Anyway, the thing is a hoot to drive. Steering feel reminds me of a F360 Modena, heavy and a bit aloof at low speeds, but comes alive when you press on. People are gobsmaked when what they think is a 120i blasts past them at high speed. And the sound... Best part of the package.

Isn't that the truth. I wonder if BMWNA is hesistant becuase they're worried that the 1'er will canabilize MINI sales. |

I like the MINI, but I do not like the girly cuteness and the FWD. |
