Which version of E-sys and Launcher are you using? If premium, which chassis are you selecting and which E-sys connection target?

I have never seen a G-series with that few number of ECUs. Unfortunately, I am also not sure what is causing car to not read them all.

He needs to turn the ignition on, read the ECU(s) (he will see around 17) and then edit fdl. Turn the ignition off and Code FDL. This way he will not have the engine turn off while codes being applied, and will still see the "sleeping" ECU's as per his screen shot above.

The only really tricky part is to code ACC memory for Eco Pro. Mine still has ASS on every time I switch to Eco Pro, but I remember seeing this setting somewhere.

I had exactly this problem, only 6 ECU's detected

I just turned engine on and then off.

Then all ECUs became visible and I could code the stop/start setting in the DME_BAC2 module without problem

Hi
After upgrading the DME at the BMW workshop (20200622), I will not be able to access the DME ecu.
Do I need to upgrade E-sys?

Which version of E-Sys/Launcher are you using? You will also need the latest PSdZData lite.

Did you figure it out? If not then I am sorry to tell you that with the new firmware, your DMEs are now locked and they need to be bench unlocked by a professional tuner shop in order to permit coding again.

Any I-Step newer than July 2019 and your DMEs are locked. BMW decided to many warranty claims for kids that don't know what their doing and blow up engine parts.
?
BTW, does your 540i have 1 or 2 DME's

Never seen an integration level where it could not be coded. Also not sure why you coded it twice.
