MY2020 stuck at port?

Anyone else in this position? My car has been sitting at the vpc for almost 3 weeks now. My sales guy believes it's due to an epa hold but that's just speculation. The dealer has 2020 550's but my car is a 530.

530i. I searched autotrader and there aren't any 2020's for sale nation wide so I don't think its just mine.

There are MY2020 530i cars for sale across the country. Hopefully the port hold doesn't last much longer.

Production for the 530s and 540s reportedly started well after the 550 and M5 production (a month or more), so your sales guy could be correct.

I ordered a 550 and it has been at the port since 8/6 due to a camshaft sensor problem. My dealer showed me a letter from BMW stating this effected 70 cars built in the first week of July including other models as well.

Interesting. Autotrader had zero but I guess I should have looked elsewhere.

My car was stuck at the port for three weeks! Apparently due to shortage of staff in Germany.

Was due to land in the States on the 31st, but only touched down today.

Order was placed first week of July.

Car finally left port and scheduled to arrive at dealer today! At least there is now a $1500 lease incentive and money factor is lower.

I think there might be a 1000 conquest program out there as well for this month.

Ask your dealer. I have an Audi and just placed an m550 order Thursday and they told me I get 2500 all in (1500 lease cash + 1000 conquest). This was in NJ.

Current factory incentives for Sept. purchasing (not leasing) the M550i from BMW are $2000 loyality and $2500.00 from Financial Services. Must finance at least $7500.00 for six months minimum. My SA says that the FS incentive money only applies to the M550i as of Sept.
