Yeah I ended up going with the blue calipers, I think both work nicely though!

Still showing as At The Port. Genius line told me on Tuesday to check on Monday/Tuesday, as they said this year has been showing cars waiting at port for about 1-1.5 weeks before getting assigned to a ship. So, no change online yet today. Will call on Monday afternoon or Tuesday afternoon if I don't see any movement first. Sigh. I just want my new toy!

I'm still showing dispatched.. 8+ days now. Maybe they're taking me the scenic route to the port or decided to drive to Denmark or something?

I haven't been able to get a hold of a human. Just the automated recording which tells me the same thing as online.

Interesting. What's your CA say? They should have more up to date info. I believe they can even see the ship that it's on if booked already.

Mine just arrived at Port. Dispatched from factory on 11/19. So 1.5 business days give it take, according to the tracker.

Just spoke with BMW Genius again, and currently still at the port after 10 days. Will be checking religiously this week and next week. Based on a (hopefully) worst case scenario like yours Texox, I should theoretically be on a ship by 12/1. And based on the W&W schedule (only one I know to look through) I've got to be on a boat tomorrow 11/24 (which means I'll know by 11/26-27) or the next W&W to New York is 12/06 and 12/10. Hoping I'm getting on a boat tomorrow, or the 6th at the latest.

If I make it by the 6th, I still have a small hope for a Christmas present, otherwise everything else looks like a 12/31-1/5 collection date.... :/

If you can get on the next ship, you'll definitely be here before Christmas. Even the one on 12/6 and you still might make it. It should not take more than about 3 weeks once you have set sail to be at the dealer. I was told 3 weeks and I have further to go than you (ship goes to Galveston and then car transport).

I'm hoping so. Just figuring the VPC in the New York port is going to be slammed and am being pessimistic so when things go smoothly I'm just happily surprised!

Mine is in transit since today, too! Unfortunately it has to get to IL, so I guess it won't arrive before late December (probably via train from NY / NJ?).

Alright, FINALLY have some good news (and more progress). BMW MyGarage and BMW Genius both show it as In Transit now, and assigned to a ship yesterday (11/24).

The ship I'm on is called the "Glorious Leader" - and yes, both myself and the Genius got a laugh at that ship name. Estimated arrival date in the NY port is 12/9, so looking very optimistic about a nice Christmas present to myself!

Timeline so far:

111: Order accepted - 10/13
112: Order scheduled - 10/15
150: Production Begins - 10/30 (scheduled for week 45, or 11/2)
151: Exterior Assembly Begins - 11/6
152: In The Paint Booth - 11/7
153: Entered Assembly Line - 11/10
154: Assembly In Progress - 11/10 afternoon
154.5: Quality Check - 11/11 early AM
155: Production Completed, awaiting carrier assignment - 11/11
193: At the port - 11/13
195: In Transit - 11/25
