I've tried searching to see if anybody has posted about this, but I have a new 2023 M550i and the audio works great most of the time. But using Apple CarPlay if I use siri for something and then let it go back to playing music, I find the audio seems weird. After playing with it I find it's still in "speech" mode and is muffling the audio. I have to switch to an app like Amazon Music before it's like "oh yeah switch back to music mode". Anybody else seen this issue before?

Thought it was me, theHarmon Kardon stereo or the app I was listening to at the time. I have 3 weeks in, still a lot of learning this car.

Yeah it’s not you. It seems like a bug. It doesn’t happen every time though.

I did do the update iDrive update March and this no longer seems to happen to me BUT I can no longer override the auto start / stop memory via bimmer code like I could before.
