iDrive Notifications From Connected Drive Dissappearing

I love the Connected Drive app and send addresses to my car almost daily. For some reason in iDrive address notifications will simply disappear after a period of time (I can't figure out the rhyme or reason behind the timing) even if they've never been read. Has anyone seen this? Any fix?

Yup, message go into the bmw messages inbox. The notification is only for that a quick notification once a message arrives. My theory is they don't want to gum up the notification area with stale messages.
