First BMW, what are first things to do/buy?
Hello! This is my first post here so apologies if I break any rules.
Last week I bought my first BMW ever, a 530e, so I was wondering what were some of the first things you bought/changed to make it better than it already is! On my list I already have a few cosmetic changes, such as tint cause it’s a fishbowl right now haha. Would love some ideas! Thanks! |

Welcome to the club. Looks like a Sport or Luxury line? I think the first thing on my list would be to wrap the chrome window trim in black. Now that you own one, you will see/notice that about 80% of G30's on the road have the ///M package (which comes with shadowline trim amongst other things).

Welcome, I have the exact same car. The first things I did was swapped out my grills for black ones. As you mentioned, windows tinted. I got black trims for the fender side air vent outlet cover and carbon fiber pattern for some of the interior. I also discovered that aftermarket parts meant for the G30 like mirror covers and spoilers don’t particularly look good on the luxury line. I still have to get the bumper chrome parts wrapped though. Lastly, just bought some black 20’s for the summer and I’m going lower it about 1.3-1.5 inches. Wish you well, discovering all of the things that work for your G30!
