Body repair shop in Chicago land area

Hey all. Any recommendations on good body shop in Chicago or northerner suburbs. Backed up into another car and broke the tail light with some bumper damage.
Is Caliber or SK repair shop good ?

Look on YouTube for legitstreetcars. He has a body shop that he highly recommends. I don't remember the name, but it should be i his links.

I don't know of the ones you mention, but up in our northern suburb Knauz BMW has a very good body shop but naturally it is expensive, so insurance is a good idea. Knauz sells BMWs, Mercedes, and Land Rovers there so you know they are used to working on high end cars and doing good work. In any event, they would be a good place to get an estimate, whether you use them or not. Also, in Libertyville, just a bit west of Lake Bluff, is one of the best independent BMW operations around, the Werk Shop. I know from experience they do great servicing usually at a much better price than a dealer and they are well known for their BMW restorations. I am not certain that they do their own regular body shop work, but I would think they would, and if not I am sure they could refer you to the body shop they recommend for their customers. Just a couple of thoughts. --Bob

I manage a bodyshop and do not recommend Caliber. They are a franchise and will cut corners. They are just looking to keep production up and make as much profit as possible/cut costs. I would look for an enthusiast shop that will take pride in their work.

Having them do some paint work for me, I couldn't agree more.

Late to the party but I 100% agree. Alex has had some insane work done by those guys (whose name I also forget).

Thanks for the info. I've had positive experiences with SK Repair Shop for similar damage in ChicagoHowever, it's always a good idea to read recent reviews and get a few quotes before making a decision. When my personal life started to get in the way of my studies, I was overwhelmed with assignments. I had to work part-time to make ends meet, and I had a full course load going on. I didn’t know how I was gonna manage it all. I decided to try out This https://www.grabmyessay.com/pay-for-essay website and I am so glad I did. GrabMyEssay helped me with some of my essays. The quality was outstanding. The writers were really understanding my assignments. They delivered papers that were very well-written and personalized to my needs. I am so thankful to GrabMyEssay for helping me through a very difficult time.

Suburban Auto Body in Glen Ellyn is my recommendation. I've used them and had friends do the same. John does a great job over there.

Had a Q7 and a 535i done at AutoNation in Westmont through insurance. Both times, it was the other driver's fault so their insurance was on the hook for it.

I think the big thing for them is using OEM parts and guaranteeing work for two years. If insurance is paying for it, might as well get OEM.
