Spoiler suggestions

Hello, I recently picked up this 2022 G30 M Sport, I think it looks bare without a spoiler, what do you think would look best on this M Sport with this Phytonic Blue color.

I'm in my 50s and don't want to over do it, just something that gives it a sportier look from the rear.

I appreciate you all and thank you in advance for any feedback.

I went with a body color one from eBay. Color was pretty close to match.

DNYC1919 Very nice! I will definitely check it out, did you consider a black one to go with the black trim? Either would look great I'm sure. Thank you for sharing sir!

I didn’t want to go too sporty. Already have the black wheels, colored brakes, blacked out roof. To keep it a little more classy but sporty went with body color spoiler.

Did it come with 3M tape? Is that how you attached it. My previous experience with attaching a spoiler on another car was frustrating as the edges kept lifting, so I returned it. I see yours lays flat over the top bend, which probably less problematic and no worry about the sides popping up? .

It came with tape. I didn’t do it myself as when I got the spoiler unlucky a car scratched my driver door so I had to get it painted. The body shop put the spoiler on for me. But it lays flat, had it on for 3 years and no issues.

Stock OEM spoiler or equivalent aftermarket in your body color will do the trick in terms taking the edge off and giving it a touch of sportiness.

It's really easy installing a spoiler on a car that does not have one to remove first. 3M automotive adhesive tape, 3M adhesive promoter and a roll of painters tape for marking out where it will sit before securing. Creating a rip cord with the red tape backing will make it super easy to install correctly.

Not fully, although it looks better now. I need/want a full detail plus some paint correction. I’ll likely do it after this winter season.

Did you do that damage trying to remove the original tape? A paint correction by a pro should help. I only missed the old tape with the eraser wheel a few times which left some scuffs. I had a paint correction and ceramic a few months after and my detailer got the few I had out.

The only lines/scuffs now are outline from the original spoiler and a few scuffs from the wheel

I bought this car used although low mileage 24k it doesnt appear the previous owner cared much about keeping up appearances. I feel like i need a good paint correction and ceramic for the whole car… I see swirls in other parts. Not overall bad, but definitely annoying.

Actually, you have the Pro and I have the CS. The CS sits exactly where the OEM one does. When you commented on marks where the original one was, I was puzzled. Now that I look closer, you have the Pro. They are very similar, just that the Pro sits on the edge of the trunk.

Got you on the paint condition. A paint correction and a ceramic will do wonders, trust me. It will look like new paint. I bought my 2003 Jet Black E39 in 2018. It had never been corrected. Swirls and micro scratches everywhere. I had a multi step paint correction done and I could not believe the results.

Ah thats right! I actually think I might like your style better. Especially since it sits atop like the former. We’ll see, so far so good - I was worried about if tape would hold and it does so thats good.

That E39 looks amazing! I’ll definitely have to splurge on the multi-step correction.

RW Carbon, I would link it for you, but this site blocks RW linking.

I know exactly what you mean. Aftermarket ones are prone to lifting so its hit or miss. I went with the Pro version from Autotecknic.
I think OEM might be even more flush to prevent the lifting.

If you want one that sits atop the lid then you definitely are looking for the version like Joe’s
