Question Emergency Call System Not Available - Low Cost Fix?

My 2019 G30 has this error after cold snap.
Assuming it's just the back up battery (seems to be a common problem)
I have read absolute horror stories on BMW dealers looking for £1000 to replace a £50 battery, so would rather not!!!
Does anyone have a link or guide to replace it without dismantling the interior of the car.
I'm fairly handy on maintenance tasks but don't have any specialist tools.
Thoughts welcome!

There was a process here from years ago where you can get the headliner out of the way instead of totally removing it but it is just the little battery up by the fin antenna.

Mine was replaced under warranty while they did a brake fluid change. It only took 2 - 2.5 hrs, so would be worth getting a quote.
Cheers

I ordered the replacement battery online, and then fitted it myself in my 530e (2018), it was easy on my G30, just pull down the small cover panel in head liner above rear middle seat head rest, then gently tease down two sides of head liner (hardest part of the job) from within the panel hole, and then relase the little plastic clip that houses the battery and replace with new battery and push fit everything back in place.... took 10 min.... not sure if all models the same process.
I did watch a few YouTube vids to ge tthe idea.

I did see a couple of videos but none were the same model (G30) and most showed a pretty serious stripdown of the interior
Maybe looking at wrong videos, any links anyone?

I recently had to do this on my car. One thing that's not mentioned in the video is that I had to clear the codes after replacing the battery before the message on the dash went away. I was able to do it easily with BimmerLink.

I assume this type of repair would not be covered under BMW extended warranty (assuming it's the battery)
