Hello All,

I have a 2018 540d xDrive with M Sport suspension on the way (shipping from CA to FL). I'll likely want to slightly lower the car to lessen the unsightly fenderwell-tire gap without slamming it. I'm looking at the MSS kit but I'm concerned about the heavier diesel engine overloading the spring rates. I have an inquiry in with the company but haven't heard back yet. Can anyone offer any insights?

I emailed MSS and also never got a reply. This was regarding the suitability of these springs for the M550i. Its 1875kg on the corner scales. I'm not confident the same springs should be used across the whole range.

Contact @william_at_mss on Instagram

He is the founder and inventor of MSS. He will reply back to any DM's you send him. Very nice guy.

I had the privilege of meeting him face to face when I was invited to the MSS facility to have a look around and have a health check done on the car, after running the springs for a while. Everything was fine and no issues.
