Discounts For The G30
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Whilst one may get between 20-25% discount on the outgoing F10 against retail price , I don't expect any discounts when the G30 is launched here. How is it in the U.K. And US? Are you guys able to get any form of discount on the G30 retail price? |

As for the F10, in Malaysia it was going for 20-25% off the list price early this year to clear last years stock.
As for the G30 I don't expect any discount as they will be making the most of their sales in respect of the launch. I may pay the premium of full retail price to be amongst the first here to own the car. |

How about UK and the US?
In U.K. My friend told me that a basic F10 528i list price £40k was sold for £28k in Nov and full spec £50k 528i MSport is being sold at £35k. Based on those numbers it would seem that a 30% discount on the outgoing model is possible in U.K.? |

For the US the only rebate is BMWCCA which has a $1,000.00 rebate. Outside of that BMWUSA has no allowances or discounts currently. You have to get discounts from the dealer.

speaking with my GM and new car manager, it doesn't look like we'll be offering any discounts for a while.

Here's a good guide to what BMW can do in the UK. 16.5% off 530d 14.7% off 520d. I got 10.9% off a 520d but I ordered in November. Deals have got slightly better since then. |

I would just print out the deal and take to your local dealer to match or beat. That's what I did on my current car. The website deal is with a uk dealer. So no reason your local dealer can't do the same offer. If not then buy via the website. My dealer beat the website price. Plus offered lower Apr pcp. |

Thank's again Simert.
Things are more complicated in Malaysia. To import cars from overseas privately we need a special permit and such permits are only given out to selected persons with tonnes of conditions. And one is also only allowed to bring in cars over 1 year old privately. So we are left with no choice but to buy from authorised dealers here. But taxes are high and since our market for luxury cars is small as we only sell about 10000 BMWs and 10000 Mercedes a year, the dealers have a healthy mark up. But it s always interesting to know how things work elsewhere. Thanks for sharing. |

There are rumors of a $2,000 loyalty credit for current owners of a 5 series here in the US. We will find out Thursday February 2 here in the US.
