Take it you are in a country that has not enabled it?
I'm in the U.K. where it was enabled in July 2017 builds and later and have additionally noted that all safety system need to be enabled for it to work( I once tailored those systems and found it not working so set them all back on again and it worked again but I don't recall which setting may have caused it. Just saying make sure all are enabled) I know it's not enabled in Sweden as other have reported that here. Which country are you in? |

I looked an not yet. Almaretto seems to be the guy to make it happen. Have u figured out how to code default startup to adaptive? I looked at the Fes options but none seem to reference adaptive as the default.

I did a few settings on my previous f10 via ESTA but I have no plans to do any coding on my g30 so a bit out of date as regards this.
Hope you find something although to be fair it's not a big deal , more of a party trick than anything genuinely useful but I guess if you haven't got it , you want to try it out which I understand. |

Almaretto coded mine for me and it defaults to adaptive drive. I use that as my default drive and usually leave it there; if I feel a need for more power/torque, I throw the shifter to the left.
Of course, one has to first have selected the dynamic damper option. |

On the other hand Adaptive Drive refers to where's the cars suspension system which includes dynamic dampers, anti roll bars, etc. In cars equipped with Adaptive Drive, it's always on. There's no selection of that suspension setup. |

I can confirm that lane change assistant works on the 2018 5series in the US. Took a TON of research but here ya go! It's possible.

I unlocked this for G05-G07 owners. Not the same for G30, but you should get some tips from the coding - focus on the land masks. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U9h...Mds3cFmzt/view |

How do you find it?
Personally I just use it for amusement rather than any real necessity. I think the best part if this level 2 autonomy that is on the car to be the traffic jam assistant. I think this arguably the most useful and clever part of it. I just love the way it can lock on to the car I front and follow that even when there are no lane markings that are detected. Depending upon your speed, it can drive for quite a while before you are prompted to put your hands on the steering wheel |
