Congrats! Mine too. Called the BMW Genius this morning, and it's still not manifested for a ship. I'm hoping for the Hawaiian Highway. It's scheduled to sail on 17 DEC and get to Brunswick the first week of January. I hope they make the trip together!

UPDATE: She's back underway making 13kts towards Bremerhaven. Looks like they lost about 8 hours from whatever problem they had.


Not looking good for the Hawaiian Highway. ETA to Bremerhaven changed from 16 DEC to 19 DEC this morning and FleetMon lists the ship as "drifting" off the coast of Spain. It shows the they are underway using the engine, but only making 1 knot instead of the normal 12-15 kts. I hope the crew are safe and they can get things running again.

It's the next logical choice, but I have no idea the method by which BMW selects cars for shipment. After reading the many build timeline threads in this forum, there does not seem to be a predictable duration that cars spend at the port before getting on a ship. I've seen some people report their car was there less than a week, and then some for as much as three weeks. Fingers crossed ours will ship out soon.

Yes it seems like of all the guys that placed their order on/around late august most ended up with the RAM recall and were waiting at port 1week+. I think mine was the only one in that bunch that didn't have the recall and I was in/out of port in 4 days.

I've wondered if BMW intentionally delays cars at Bremerhaven if they know parts are missing. I mean, why not, what's the rush? Let the supply chain catch up?

BMW Genius is closed on 23rd and 24th next week
They said earlier it could be at the port for up to 3 weeks given the time of the year..
Guess i'll check in one more time before Xmas and again on the 29th to see if she made it onto a ship.

Yeah, it's dragging on. The Hawaiian Highway is approaching Bremerhaven now. ETA is 0200 tomorrow our time. Hopefully that's the one.

I'm actually still stuck in Quality check on mybmw since 12/9. Was scheduled to finish production on 12/10.
One person from Genius last week told me that I'm likely at the port on 12/13 waiting a vessel and system just hasnt updated. Yesterday another rep on the Genius hotline told me that there is a chance that I'm still holding in quality check waiting for a part. Its annoying to get conflicting information from a 'Genius'.

The wait continues now seemingly through Xmas it seems. I'm hoping that I'm not waiting on any parts and I'm actually at the port with you heath3777

Sorry to hear that mikeyr0x. I thought yours was already at the port. I called this morning and the "Genius" told me my car showed in their system as still at the port, but it was possible that it had been put on a ship, but their system wouldn't update with the vessel information for up to a week. In the Information Age, one would think that they would know exactly where these cars are at any time. Anyway, best of luck that it's on the boat and have a Merry Christmas.

I don't know if you have checked with your dealer salesman. I got an email from mine an hour after my car left the port. They should also know the status if it is still held up in production. I tried the genius once and they were not helpful. My salesman has been great at communicating every step of the way.

Spoke to my dealer yesterday. My cars status's is confusing to everyone. Production was set to complete on 12/9 but it has been stuck on quality check since then. Almost a month.

So my CA called BMW northAM and supposedly there is a global BMW tracking update issue. I was told many cars status has not updated in 2-3 weeks on mybmw. So they suspect it has been moving and is likely on a boat somewhere.

No stop sale no recalls just lack of updates on mybmw. 🤷*♂️

easy to track once its on the ship on vessel finder. Mine is on the Hawaiian Highway, got a love that name. It was originally suppose to hit port jan 7 now says the 11th. Once it gets there I have to deal w ram stop sale, hope it wont be to long.

Well, that makes sense. My first car has been in the paint booth for 3 weeks, and the second is still showing 'Error' when I try to add it to my garage.

Yup, thats not normal. Hopefully we'll see an update sometime this week that our cars are in transit.

Just google Hawaiian Highway vessel and the link will be there. It s a pretty cool site u can see the data on the ship, speed, distance, port stops, maps........ The info on the ram stop sale came from the dealer which I verified w BMW. The RAM is the chip for HK radio
