front only brake upgrade...

I'm looking for some OBJECTIVE info regarding brake upgrades for my 2003 e85 3.0i...
My question is...would only upgrading the front rotors adversely effect braking performance? E.g. effecting bias, wear, but mostly bias...when i'm braking into turn 7 at road Atlanta, the car is already unbalanced...i'm afraid only upgrading the front end will cause the rear brakes to be less effective in such a situation, possibly inducing more over steer.
what say you?

Curious what pads are you using now? And are they the same front and rear?
