Premium package - uk
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Premium package Comprises: ? 316 Bootlid operation, powered ? 4NB Air conditioning, automatic with four-zone control ? 4NM Ambient Air package ? 4T7 Massage function, front ? 4U1 Ceramic finish for controls ? 456 Comfort seats, front In combination with ZGM for 530d m sport: £2160 Now all the talk about message seats and auto bootlid has made me thing again. To get these separately costs I think £2490. So for less than that one would also get ceramic controls 4 zone air con and ambient air (which I really don't value at all). Worth it? I'm already at over £62k retail price so adding another 2k will hurt a bit....?

Not sure you're comparing the correct package vs individual component prices. Your package price of £2160 assumes you've already selected ZGM comfort pack, but that brings down the price of the seats anyway ?
On the BMW configurator, if I select Comfort Pack, then the cost of adding massage comfort seats plus auto bootlid is £1785 ? Last edited by morellomax; 04-13-2017 at 05:00 AM.. |

I already decided on comfort seats so I think if you're in the same position then it's a small amount extra to pay for a lot more value. 4 zone is awesome and looks fab. ceramic will (hopefully) be ace too. Not sure if you're financing your motor but if you are then it should only add around £30 per month minus the discount you negotiated. I would say go for it |

So if that's all The only question is 4 zone - my kids are unlikely to need to amend that. Would rather get rear seat heating - if any adult sits in the back that's probably more useful.

4 zone with color display and touch buttons.
2 zone with no color display, normal buttons, and the graphics of the numbers are like an 80s Casio calculator.

Ok thanks. Hmmm don't think that would kill me to have 2 zone. Ok need to get thinking cap on and check with dealer if he would even let me change. Finance was locked down before quarter finished... he seemed to think it was final then but I have 3 weeks before it goes into production.

I believe 4 zones also provides extra vents on B pillars

Thanks for your inputs, I'm elated to pick up 4 Zones Air Conditioner
I deleted have the foot opened the trunk option , it is just useful but I couldn't justify the price for it . I also remove the massaging seats but kept the comfort seats . I think having comfort seats can compensate the lack of message seats Ambient Air stayed on the list , it's not as expensive as others Besides that when you order a 4 zone A/C you will be getting touchscreen on the A/C unit so you don't have to press down the buttons to change the settings whereas in dual zone you have to press the buttons to change the settings

It'll be more for us in uk. I think like £30-£40 more a month.

I can confirm B pillar vents and touch controls for front display like G10 if you get 4 zone

Nice. I wonder if that changes any sound dynamics in the car...?
