I absolutely hate sedans but this definitely speaks to me, especially in gray. Can't wait to see what the M5 looks and sounds like. I6 is nice but does nothing for me unless it's in an M2. Only 8s for me.

I like it! I don't care for the M badges on the M-Sport. But, a little dental floss fix that. I can't wait to see the M5! It should be a sharp looking piece of kit!

I need to see this in person. The interior looks great. Exterior, has to grow on me. A bit too conservative. However, I said the same thing about new 7 then I saw it in person - and BAM lol .. Still like my F10. Will wait another 2 years before considering the G30.

Pretty nice all around but the rear to me. Especially the lower part that's black plastic. Its giving me Honda Accord vibes. BMW seems to do this with several of their cars and its pretty meh to me.

That pic of the M550i looks pretty baller but damn that lower rear again. I already want to see if there's going to be M-performance rear diffuser.

Last but not least, the grand daddy of them all, the M5 is what everyone really wants to see.

The cars in the pictures all have LED lights. The base LED lights look just like the LED lights in the X1 (google them - they don't have the split light design like we're used to seeing in BMW LEDs, but they are in fact LEDs that just look like halogens)

More pics

Front, rear and cockpit comparisons...

It's obvious that the new front with the wider kidneys and elongated headlights joining the kidneys make the car looks wider and flatter. Less character lines on the hood/bonnet makes the G30 design cleaner...

At the rear though, an uninformed person would not make the difference between the G30 and F10.

Dashboard looks much different than the F10, but I've added another pic of the G30 dash VS the F30 3 series. Their designs are way too close for comfort!!

I don't know why, but I actually don't like it. Looks too standard and plain. I wish BMW was bolder in their design. The new Volvo sedan, Cadillac CT6, and re-designed Porsche Panamera look much much better.

The reason that I'm so upset by this is because I was considering the next gen M5 as my next car. Does anyone else feel this way?

And to address the lack of sympathy that I may receive - vanity is never fair.
I can't stand the rear.

I am not sure if I will follow through with F90 deposit I have.

Out of the 3 M5 I have owned. E39 was most pleasing to the eye. The F10 was good as well. E60 was ugly. The front end is good- but why the F30 rear.

Just ugly.

Not to mention the new E class is a complete 100% redesign of what an interior looks like. This looks like a refreshed version of the previous model. If the exterior of the new E wasn't so stupid looking I think BMW would have a problem!

BMW will sell A TON of these. Great design that works well as a successor to the highly regarded F10 design. Dynamically, hopefully it's a little lighter on its feet than the F10.

looks more grown up than I would like.

Something I would consider design wise to be more refined than the F10 but giving up that sporty look/feeling in that process purely based on exterior designs.
