No roof rails???? Looks like a saloon from the front, much like the F11 which lost most of its saloon/Touring stand out appearance from the e60/61 variant.
Do not understand the German logic in that at all. I drive an F11, but yearn for the 61 days...... |

Looks like an improvement on the adaptive LEDs, the light looks narrowed, rather then the heavy bounce of the current version which fills most of the upward half of the corona.
First versions are always gonna be markedly improved with the subsequent v2 model. Just a pity the roof rails don't seem to be... |

In Germany we don't intend to put roof rails on especially when we have no plans to carry anything on the roof anyway.

Please, T-TIP, save our souls from going to the dark pits filled with BMW SUVs!
I'm going to put a little photo of Mrs. Clinton somewhere in a corner and pray every night in the hope that her talk about trade agreements is just something she needed to say because of Bernie. |

https://goo.gl/images/jECB1T By the way, why would you need or want roof rails? What would you want to carry on your roof? |
