Received my diffuser today ordered from eBay. Installed it and fitment was good with Dinan catback exhaust.

looks good but why did you get the carbon fiber style? you trunk spoiler is carbon fiber

They had CF look...I really want to get a real CF diffuser which I plan to purchase next summer. I also really don't like it's a M5 diffuser...looks like a M5 wanna be, but the diffuser I wanted wouldn't fit around the Diana exhaust tips.

You made me really think and it would look better with a carbon fiber diffuser. So I'll be selling my Diana catback exhaust and going back to stock and get a cheap knock off CF diffuser from eBay until I get a real carbon fiber diffuser. To be honest I've been thinking for a while going back to my stock exhaust.

I finally installed the CF diffuser and I have to agree...it looks much better.

How did you add it to the bumper itself?

There are instructions on YouTube...use a non sharp object to pry out the oem diffuser. I believe there are 5 clips attaching the diffuser to the bumper.... Just check YouTube...

Also it's on ebay.. type in g30 m5 style carbon fiber diffuser and it should come on

This might be a dumb question. I just bought a 540i. If I was to upgrade the exhaust do I need to change the diffuser for the quad tips?

Depends on which exhaust you upgrade to. If you get a Diana exhaust then no. You can keep your stock diffuser.

Then I believe you'll have to get a different diffuser if you want the quad tips.

How was the install for this LCI diffuser? I'm considering buying it as well, but don't want to have to remove the entire bumper and make perm modifications in order to make it fit. Just looking for a plug and play solution with this style.

HD IC Stock intake(had open before and was sick of noise) BMS CP 550i 351m rims with 275/245 set up. No tune as of yet.
